Ok well that contest went badly. Seeing as no one entered I guess you guys aren't interested in contests? Could we have a little feedback so we know what you want us to do. Ideas would be appreciated.

Thought I'd share the news - Panic! won the moonman for Video of the Year, for I Write Sins. Being in England, the ceremony won't be shown over here until saturday *grumble*, but apparently a gatechrasher ran onstage just before their acceptance speech.
Even though they were nominated for 5 awards, only two acts won more that one award, one was gnarls barkely, and I'm not sure of the other.

And I guess I should also mention- Fall out Boy won viewers choice with Dance Dance.

Firstly, before I start ranting, welcome to any new members, great to see you.
Second, I hope some of you have some things to submit to the contest - see previous journal entry.

And now to my rant-

As some of you may well know, there is a secret Panic! gig to be held in London soon, and by signing up to a mailing list, they would send you a link to where you can buy tickets. That was today. The tickets sold out in 10 mins. I decided to try and get hold of Emily before ordering, which then lead to us missing out on tickets. Which in it's own right really sucks, but only about 200 tickets can be expected to sell fast, I just didnt expect that fast.
This made me suspicious, so I headed off to, you guessed it, ebay, where -less than FIFTEEN MINUTES- after this gig had sold out, there were at least 5 lots selling secret gig tickets. WTF. In my opinion, a proper fan wouldn't do this, they'd appreciate the band being popular, and not trying to make a personal profit, where other fans miss out. I sincerely hope that anyone doing this has their tickets lost in the mail. Or at least someone possibly reinforcing the rules of orders being cancelled by original seller if found to be resold...
I was really looking forward to a chance to go to this concert, but thanks to selfish, greedy, little *insert appropriate word here*, I, and plenty other fans miss that chance.
Argh.

Contest:

Right this is a very simple contest. Make a deviant ID for the club.

Some suggestions:
Try to put at least two members of the band in the ID (we're not just a Brendon Urie fan club but a P!ATD fan club)

Put in some writing about the club - something simple like "Panic At The Disco Fan Club" will do. Don't need an essay

These are just suggestions but you don't have to abide by them. However:

One rule - Make sure the deviantID fits properly in the gap for the deviantID. If you don't know what I mean I'll try to explain. By this I mean that when it's displayed all of the picture is shown on the page, because it's really annoying when part of it is cut off. It also looks unprofessional. This means the ID can only be a certain width. I'll let you know if I find out the width - or you can do it by trial and error.

The moderators may be entering the competition so we will not be judging it - you will. There will be a vote on the entries after the deadline. The prize will be that your ID is used by the club and a 3 month subscription.

We will post all entries as deviations.

Feel free to make as many entries as you want, but be sensible.

The contest ends 31st August

Other News:

Both myself and ~Golden-Ramoth will be away for a few weeks. I doubt either of us will have internet access. So we won't be online for a few weeks but don't panic (no pun intended) we will be back.

And any entries to the contest - upload them on your account and put a link to them in a comment on this journal or note us with the link.
